キャンバス生地にラバーを貼り合わせた全天候型モデルから待望のスリッポンタイプです。雨天時や、野外イベントなど足下の状態が悪い場面でも気にせず履くことができる仕様となっています。また、従来のモデルよりも軽量化され、足入れの良さも相まって、履きやすさがグッとアップしました。

This is the long-awaited slip-on type from the all-weather model with rubber laminated to canvas fabric. It is a specification that can be worn without worrying even in rainy weather or in situations where underfoot conditions are poor, such as outdoor events. In addition, it is lighter than the previous model, and combined with the goodness of the foot insertion, the ease of putting on has been greatly improved.

バルカナイズ製法
生ゴムに硫黄を加え、熱反応させることで弾性や強度のあるゴムに変化させる化学反応を利用した靴の製法で、底とアッパーの結合が強く丈夫で壊れにくく、接着と成型を同時に行うため形くずれしにくい等のメリットがある反面、人の手がかかり過ぎるため、生産性が低く、現在、国内でのこの製法ができる工場は少なくなってきています。
一つ一つの手作業でソールを成型して行きます。この作業には長年培った熟練の職人による技術が必要不可欠となります。加硫缶と呼ばれる窯で熱反応させ、弾性や強度のある靴として完成させます。アッパー材、シューレース全て国産材を使用し、久留米産であることに自信と誇りを込めて、中敷には”MADE IN KURUME"と記載しています。

Vulcanizing Process
This is a shoe manufacturing method that uses a chemical reaction in which sulfur is added to raw rubber and heat reacts to change it into rubber with elasticity and strength. However, the process requires too much human labor, and productivity is low.
The sole is formed one by one by hand. This process requires the skills of skilled craftsmen who have been cultivating their skills for many years. The sole is then thermally reacted in a kiln called a vulcanizer to complete the shoe with elasticity and strength. The upper material and laces are all made in Japan, and the insoles are labeled "MADE IN KURUME" with confidence and pride in the fact that they are made in Kurume.

The shoes produced at our factory in Kurume, which flourished as a town of rubber industry after the production of Tabi Shoes (split-toed socks), are filled with the technology and experience we have cultivated over the long history of our company.
